Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber
3.0

Definitely a nostalgia read for me but I still enjoyed it. Raven is your typical teenage protagonist in an early 2000's book - a bit self absorbed, thinks she's cooler than almost everyone else, etc. etc. Throw in a guy who could possibly be a vampire and is an outcast like her and she's in love. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing the book, it's cute and I do enjoy it. Main focus is on Raven for this book however as you don't get to meet or see Alexander, the love interest, until halfway into the book. You get more interactions between Raven and her bully/enemy/antagonist Trevor and their relationship is... iffy at best. Definitely fun if your rereading for nostalgia.

If you actually want to read a vampire book, however, you'll have to wait for the next book in the series.
