I'm a huge fan of fairy tale retellings and I have wanted to read Cinder for a while, but even then the first time I tried I couldn't get into the story, I think I was in midst of a reading slump a the time, so I put it down. A year later I finally decided to give it another go and DAMN am I happy I did!
The characters! The Story! The Sass! WOAH!
I was drawn into the story and loved the fact it was set in the future. The characters were probably the best part, each one was well developed and it didn't take me long to start calling them my babies.
I also want to mention how much I loved Cinder and her sass! she was constantly talking to herself, which is something I myself do, and I loved how her character developed.

The only reason this book didn't get 5 stars from me was because I felt there was a lot of story crammed into the book and it felt rushed at certain times, that being said I am so excited to start reading Scarlet and continue on with this story, I have fallen into this story and I don't want to get out!
