Thank you for Cristina Alger, the publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of "Girls Like Us" in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book overall. I really enjoyed the premise of the story. The author provided an excellent character in Nell who must deal with multiple priorities going on at the same time...leave from the FBI, her father's death, an active murder case in which she is asked to assist with, and whether her dad, a detective, was involved in the murders. At times, I did not feel the writing was very strong and could have been improved to make the story more exciting. However, it is a good book. I could see this being a series with Nell as the main character.
