I've never read an anthology like this before, and truthfully I thought it was going to be a bunch of nonfiction essays, but I was pleasantly surprised by the stories! My favorite stories were "Half a Moon" by Renée Watson, "The Trouble With Drowning" by Dhonielle Clayton, and "The (R)evolution of Nigeria Jones" by Ibi Zoboi, who edited this book as well.
