Reading a villain origin story is hard, especially when we know the horrors he does to a loved hero in other books.
That being said, I found it interesting from a nature vs nurture perspective. Snow hates anybody not from the Capitol, the poor, and those who stand in the way of things/people he considers his. There were many times when Snows thought on women made me roll my eyes. Yet, there were moments where, if Snow had other people to encourage him and a different environment, the argument could’ve been made that he would be different.
