Cute, maybe even fun, but a bit empty, the idea that everybody should put, in French we say mettre de l'eau dans son vin (put water in their wine), not sure that's a saying in English... meaning that everybody should meet and do a bit of a compromise is well present in the book, but the situation is too funny/ridicule to resonate in a more «real» situation!
