I have to be honest, I absolutely loved the first book in this series, A Lady's Guide to Mischief and Mayhem, so it was difficult for me to get into the sequel at first.

Once I realized how much the original couple are in the second one, it made it much easier. I love the combination of mystery and romance! While Val took some time to like, I ended up really liking his scenes with Caro and how they were thrown together.

Also, we are introduced to the couple that the third book focuses on and I'm already excited to read it!

This series is a great introduction to anyone wanting to start reading historical romance! You can read the first two books and catch up before the third one comes out in March, A Spinster's Guide to Danger and Dukes!
