The Girls catches you in the beginning, lulls in the middle, but if you stick with it to the end, it will be worth it. It's deep. Much deeper than I was expecting going in and forced me to grapple with my gender, sexuality, and feelings about my identities as a 21 year old woman. Evie is another character you love to hate, but mostly because she probably reminds you of herself.
