3 stats just for Simon because he's my favorite of this set of characters. Oh and Magnus and Alec! Though their appearance in this book was minimal. Honestly, I just find Clary and Jace annoying. Normally teen romance drama doesn't bother me too much, but Clary just rubs me the wrong way. Her focus is too narrow, I guess?

I think this is why I seem to prefer Clare's historical books to their present day. Those characters just seem more down to earth to me. Also apparently I've read this book before and I don't remember any of it.
