“I’m not just a dreamwalker… I am a professional fucking lowlife.”
Getting to see Paige go to the free world for the first time and away from Scion was one of the best parts. It was so surreal seeing her experience things us as readers are so used to on a regular basis. But I guess if Scion was more than just a fictional world, I would have culture shock too.
Once again, every part of Samantha Shannons writing and world building is incredible. I laughed, I cried, I almost threw my book across the room. It was excellent. I loved the Greek god crossovers and how the plot has evolved into such a complex, beautiful story.
