I finally got around to reading last year’s installment in the Mercy Thompson series. Ya’ll know this is one of my fave series right? I mean I’ve certainly mentioned it more than a few times. This time around we find Mercy back at home after being kidnapped and dealing with even more less than desirable things. Let’s see, an impending meeting between the fae and the government, rogue protection details after declaring her pack the keepers of the city, black witches, zombie goats, and bomb threats. Does that sound like enough action for you? I’ll admit there was a lot going on in this book, but most of what happened tied together in the end and I mean, what good is a supernatural novel if things don’t get a little crazy? Especially when we’re on book 11.
