Waylaid was so much more than I could have ever expected. The second I started reading I was completely drawn into Rickie and Daphne’s story.

Rickie is so beautifully broken. My heart broke for him so much. He has the bad boy look, but he is far from it…at least this version of Rickie. When Daphne first met him three years prior he was definitely the bad boy. I love the entire Shipley family and I absolutely love Daphne. She is hardworking, but she has also been hurt in the past and many things she has never talked about to really anyone.

There is so much chemistry between Rickie and Daphne. They have a past together and even though only Daphne remembers it, she was hurt. However, they really both need each other. I loved the support they were able to give each other. The two of them together are perfect.

Waylaid is full of chemistry, ice cream, some mystery, steam and of course, some Shipley family love!
