Most fun I’ve had reading a book is a while, the plot is amazing, the world is so interesting. I finished the book and was immediately ready to jump into the sequel.

The only reason this isn’t getting a 4.5 or a 5 is because I can NOT get over the cringey bits. Why do they say “fuck” so much? I’m certain places it’s tasteful and I’m like “ok yeah cool,” but in a LOT of places it just did not work and I got ripped out of being immersed in the story and the cringe was unbearable. Overall though, well-written characters, loved it so much, just can’t get over the cringe. New favorite regardless.
