overall so sweet and cozy. and i do NOT like the pregnancy trope. but i, too, would have a baby with this man.
i think the book did rely a bit too much on telling us over showing us. it is all about character growth (it's hard to write an accidental pregnancy book and not have it be) and i think i just wanted to SEE these characters grow. yes, i could see minor changes on the page. both characters gained confidence and something to work towards, which is so lovely. but outside of minor growth on the page, i felt like it was mostly just the characters repeating that they are growing to really settle to the audience that we are witnessing character growth. would have loved to see more of it on the page in little moments, i think.
