Heather moves away from her family to follow her music career and has some not so pleasant run ins with her neighbor and landlord, Ian. Who is kind of a jerk to her when they first meet. However, there is no denying the instant connection and attraction these two have towards one another.

Things go to another level when Ian sees Heather perform and he is drawn into her even more with her music and her voice. He becomes protective of her and starts to act a little less like a jerk towards her. I love how Ian is with Heather. How protective and caring and sweet he truly is, especially after their first few meetings with each other. He isn’t afraid to potentially risk everything, including a deal with his brother.
