I am so happy that space novels seem to be back in vogue. If you are a fan of Firefly then you need to pick up this book. Solara indentures herself to her high school prick of a classmate to get to the outer rings of space. It’s not an easy trip. Things get complicated quickly when Doran throws her off the ship. Solara gets the last laugh when she kidnaps Doran. She is going to make it to the outer ring at any cost. This book was not only adventurous, but it was fun and full of action. I am so glad there is a sequel that comes out in the next two weeks. I want to read more of this story. Doran and Solara end up on the Banshee which is a smuggling/delivery ship. But out beyond the tourist centers its is a wild world full of pirates, bounty hunters, and other things that can destroy everything. When I said it reminds me of Firefly, it does. In the best way. I can not wait for book 2.
