Lorraine: The Girl Who Sang the Storm Away
by Ketch Secor, Higgins Bond
I liked this story even though it seems a little miss matched. Yes Loraine is there, and yes she sang during a story, but just as much of the story was given to singing to a raven that was a mysterious friend. It has a rhyming sing song quality which I love in a picture book, and overall it really works. I just would maybe play with the subtitle a little. May it represent the entire book instead of just a short part of the story.
