Ummmm so yeah … I lowkey LOVED this book! It had me in a chokehold from page one.

Two things though, I really wish the characters were just a bit older — I think that would've helped me stay locked in without giving side-eye at some of the plot. But that's my fault for not reading the synopsis and second, there were a few parts where the writing got a lil’ muddled and choppy — I was sittin’ there like, “Wait a sec, what’s really goin’ on?” But that’s nothin’ a good edit can’t clean up.

STILL… this story was a whole vibe! Dark, gritty, suspenseful — and exactly the kinda wild ride I crave. Plus, let’s be real… B.B. Reid is always a good time for me! She never shies away from takin’ risks, and I love her for that. I’m already geeked for book two, and I’m definitely locked in!
