Wow! I read this in KU and listened to the audio as well. The audio is FANTASTIC! Joe Arden and Avery Caris nailed their characters and brought Cole and Hawke to life. The audio is duet narration and is 5/5 stars.

- Cheating (done in a way that fits the story)

Hawke had a hard outer exterior but ultimately just wanted to be loved and not feel so broken. Cole was naive and inexperienced and didn’t see the gaslighting and toxicity that was in her relationship with Patrick. I don’t want to say too much, but I highly recommend you read/listen to this book!

I usually do not like a cheating troupe, but Jescie Hall made it work in this book. Patrick is the worst and while no one deserves to be treated on, he deserves the karma that he got.

I’m so glad I finally read this book! Do yourself a favor and listen to this on audio! It really added to the story and added to all the feels I felt while reading and listening to this book.
