I've been putting off reading this book because I was afraid I wouldn't understand a lot of the references, and my lack of knowledge of the varied literary subjects of the imagined text conversations was worse than I expected! I hadn't even heard of some of the subjects, and even some of the references I thought I would understand didn't click very well. Still, this is a delight to read, with Ortberg's style singing from each page.
