Well, it was better than I thought it would be at first. However, the entire thing felt rushed. Plot points all too conveniently and suddenly fell into place. Important phone calls ended in two seconds. The main character remained rather static and flat throughout the book. Still, if you're looking for a quick read that doesn't require too much inferring or deep thought, this one is nice. The ending is cute, especially the bit with the clock (not really spoiling, but it's cute). Hopefully the author will have an editor for his next book and won't have to self-publish.
