I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first one, but it was still enjoyable to dive into the world that Alice has created. I love the history, and the two worlds colliding. I just wasn't sure how I felt about some of the new characters, one in particular seemed very rushed and not flushed out.

But I do so love the history between this world's people and Leora's search for truth within that history and her own.
