Well, this wasn't my favorite Elsie Silver book and I don't feel like this series is hitting the way that the Chestnut Springs series did, but I did enjoy it. I liked West, and thought he was a great MMC. A devoted father, super hot, obsessed with his girl (to the point he was a fan of her music before meeting her, even wore a shirt with her face on it) and obviously smart and snarky in the best ways. Skylar struck me as a bit immature, especially in the beginning but she did grow on me as the book went on. I absolutely LOVED and adored Emmy and Oliver! The kids in Elsie's books are always great and so entertaining. I think they may have saved this book. I felt like something was missing from this? Some sort of "it factor" that the previous books had but I still had a good time reading it. I am REALLY looking forward to Wild Side!
