Do I even write reviews anymore? hahahaha
This was kind of a meh miss for me. To be fair I am not super into hard scifi or fantasy, and this was 100% hard scifi. I listened to the audiobook and while I loved that the narrator used an appropriate accent, I felt like this book went over my head. I 100% read to escape and while I love a deep book every so often, sometimes I walk away from books feeling like I just didn't get it and the writer is smarter than me. This is one of those books. Not bad, not overwhelmingly good but I read for Read Harder 2020. Remind me next year not to do these dumb challenges.
