This was way more murder mystery and less Japanese/samurai culture than I was expecting, but I still really enjoyed it! Being one of the first strictly murder mystery novels I've ever read I flew through it, was able to follow the plot, and didn't correctly guess the killer! I'd rate this a 3.5 stars but have to round up for keeping me interested.
