The Invincible Iron Man, Volume 2: World's Most Wanted, Book 1
by Matt Fraction
So what happens when the Green Goblin is running the world? Well, you go on the run because shittttt he's after ya!
This starts off after the events of "Dark Reign" which means Osborn is running shit. He's disassembled SHIELD and is going after Stark. Of course Tony doesn't take chances and all the files on each superhero from the Civil war files is now stored inside, yep you guessed it, his fucking BRAIN. So what does he do? He goes on the run from Osborn but the goblin doesn't give up that easily. He sends as many people as need be to hunt down the billionaire.
Good: The art remains good. Some amazing fight scenes shown on display here. I also enjoyed Tony's self sacrificing moments. Even doing so he tricks people but in a way he's doing it to protect them. He remains who he is. I also loved Pepper's moments here.
Bad: The stuff with Hill in the 2nd half is really odd and not very interesting tbh. I also thought the namor stuff felt pushed in just because, well, he is under water!
Overall a fun ride but nothing spectacular. I can't put my finger on it but this series lacks a little something. Either way I'll finish up the Most Wanted storyline and probably stop unless that volume blows me away. This is a 3 out of 5.
