i would actually have a heart attack if i was ever in a relationship like this or knew anybody who was like this.

the plot was fine it was interesting and i was very engaged but omg the characters BYE

rika first of all is a dumb ass name. she’s stupid as shit and whiny. every time michael fucks with her she thinks she’s being powerful when she gives in but he’s literally just manipulating her and she’s falling into his trap??? like literally playing right into his hands. she’s weak and naive. i don’t understand why she’s so drawn to michael at. all. and like once everything comes out she just lets michael fuck her a few times and then she’s over it????????????????? no groveling no real apology just dick and done.

michael is a disgusting human being. he spends his entire life completely ignoring rika but ‘silently wanting her’ and then complains about not being able to have her. like????????? you literally created your own prison wtf. typical man. he is secretly planning to ruin rika’s life for 3 years + the first half of this book and STILL FUCKS HER. disgusting. he’s supposedly in love with her but damn near let his friends rape her in front of him. what. the. fuck.

alex was useless like she advanced no plot at all. trevor and damon were just plain weird. will was dumb as a box of rocks.

i honestly probably liked kai the most which is not saying much at all. he was fucked up in the head but actually showed remorse for his actions. plus the steam room scene was hot.
