Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption
by Bryan Stevenson
challenging
hopeful
informative
inspiring
sad
medium-paced
While I find it hard to rate nonfiction and memoir books especially, this was a wonderfully constructed book. Stevenson did a great job narrating. Every explanation of terminology or the history behind the cases presented were succinct and accessible.
While not a comprehensive overview of injustice in America, this is an incredible read and introduction. I have a lot of things I want to research further and look into.
