My favorite thing about this book is the illustrations.  I really wanted to love this book, and while I do like it, it is just too long.  I found my mind wandering while reading, with no real need to finish the tale.  This book would have been better if it has been cut down more.  This isn’t’ a literary class, it’s a picture book.
