If you want a simple, short, perfect book - this is for you. Magical realism is my favorite genre and the book was exactly that in the simplest terms. Everything that is normal life, including joy, hardships, regrets but throw in some time traveling - that is This Time Tomorrow. In my opinion, this is what The Midnight Library should have been.

There is a saying that comes up when a writer is having writer’s block or can’t seem to edit a complicated plot - “write about what you know”. Emma Straub KNOWS this story - it feels like I was reading her life and I know nothing about her.

This was just SO easy to read. While dealing with heavy topics, it had me feeling light and hopeful that you can still make changes in your life without wondering what you could have done differently in your past. I will miss Alice, Leonard, and Sam dearly.

*Emma I would read and review all your books if you want to send me some more ARCs 🥰*
