Uuuugh this book has no business being this good! I'm so mad because tried to stagger when I started reading it so l'd finish it when Hell Bent comes out but it was too good and ended up binging it lol.
This was my second read, the first time I read Ninth House was 2020 and both times found the first 20% of the book hard to get into. I think it's because there's a lot of time jumping and pov changes plus youre kind of thrown into the world and it's jarring. But once you figure it all out you won't be able to put this book down. It was just as good as i remember and luckily for me its been long enough since read it that I was still shocked by all the twists and turns.
Alex is a new member of an organization called Lethe who's job is to eep certain secret societies at Yale in check, and because of a special ability she has, she's thrown into the role and the world of New Haven without really being qualified, but she rises to the occasion.
I can't wait for Hell Bent to come out so I can find out what happens am counting the days, but the next book better have a bunch of Darlington in it or l'm gonna cry.
