Okay so Betty MacDonald be having some dated thoughts to SAY THE LEAST!!! However as a historical work of both the attitude of the time, and Betty undeniably having a pretty funny and beautiful prose at times, this is certainly an entertaining read. Can't argue with the gross goeduck thing either
