I'm so sad to say I was a bit disappointed by this. It's not just that we are left waiting for answers, but that it feels way too long and complicated. The search by the sisters is quite aggressive, and I felt the whole book could have been cut down and tightened up.

I was really sad to read of Lucinda's death and hope there will be a last book to finish the story. My sympathies to her family - her books have been wonderful to read, even if this might not be her best one.
