If you read Beach Party (book 4.5 of the Capricorn Cove series) you would have already seen the shit show that left Erik the proud papa of twin boys over Christmas. Having this prior knowledge had left me super excited and anticipating his story.

I also already loved Erik based on his interactions with his brother's fiance in Thunder Thighs (CC book 1). I'm so happy that his personality stayed consistent. He is protective, hardworking, and kind of a mess. Laura literally sweeps him off his feet. I love her take control personality and direct communication skills. She is not one to drag any topic out.

These two have fabulous chemistry. The babies make sure there is never a dull moment. I laughed a lot with this one and agree that Erik's ex is a selfish witch.
