Thank you to Netgalley and Atria Books for this ARC! I had so much fun reading this.

Frank is a rich man who is murdered and the 2 main suspects are his daughters. Sofia and Alexandra. They are both blaming the other sister. The girls both definitely have their own issues.
We get to follow Eddie Flynn and Kate Brooks as the defence lawyers who are representing them in the biggest case they’ve seen in a long time.

It was such a cool thing having a point of view of the killer, not knowing who it is. I found myself searching for the smallest details in her chapters so I could try figuring it out on my own. I was guessing until the end.

The lawyer talk was so fun to read too. I loved the court proceedings and seeing the evidence laid out for us as the reader while knowing what we know from the killers POV. I couldn’t stop reading once I got to the trial part of the book.

I know this is the 5th book in this Eddie Flynn series, but in my opinion this can be easily read as a stand alone. Definitely recommend!
