I love the premise, setting and this isolated setting. There’s nothing that would get me to buy a book faster than if you tell me it’s this “locked-room” setting.

BUT this is the second thriller I’ve read from this author and I must say, I don’t enjoy these types of prep-rich-school-boys-do-shit-back-in-the-day characters. I don’t mind hating a character, that’s part of the fun but all of them actually annoyed me. Lol. Towards the end when the main event was coming and the secrets are revealed, I was so annoyed that I had to take a break from reading. Hence the 3 stars.

I would still love to read from Lucy Foley when she comes out with another thriller because I enjoyed her writing style very much. But maybe different types of characters? Lols
