what was i on in this review ? i actually loved it ?!
i listened to the audiobook this morning and it was fun and adorable. it is, indeed, very short but NR Walker made it work so well ?? you get attached to both MCs. and Brent actually being interested in Logan's interests (doctor who !!!!) was so sweet, adorable and beautiful !
and the epilogue ? absolutely amazing. i want the same thing.

aaaaargh. i am frustrated and disappointed.
it could have been everything i needed.
n.r. walker has been an instant favourite with Upside Down, and here i thought n.r. walker + whovian goodness ? dreams come true.

but no.

i was not convinced by this (short) book.

it really could have been everything i could have asked for.
it's just the execution was not there.

the relationship didn't feel natural or true to me.
the characters are plain and 2 dimensional. flat.

depth was missing. feelings were missing.
it was tasteless and now i am gonna go sleep my frustration away
