It's pretty rare when I rate a novella higher than 3 stars but DAMN.
This was so much fun. Fast-paced, to the point, and it kept me interested the entire time.

I might just be biased because of how much I love Valek, but this was worth the read even if it doesn't do much for the series plot. This story shows how much Valek has grown since the beginning of book 1, and that alone is enough to melt my heart and make me love this!
