I could not stand the way Kai acted about Paedyn he has literally no personality other than he can't live without her. Also I guessed a certain twist early and looked up spoilers and it's too predictable and also just not a good twist. I didn't mind it in the first book but this whole series is very obviously an amalgamation of a bunch of different YA books that are popular and I find it odd that it got published with how clear it is. I get taking inspiration from other books but this just took multiple plot points from other series and mashed it into one. Also this is just a me problem but I was hoping for more fantasy and this was pretty much only romance set in a fantasy world which is just not for me.
