Mother May I
by Joshilyn Jackson
Mother May I is a great thriller that will keep you turning pages until the very end. Bree is a mother who will do anything for her family and is married to Trey, a rich lawyer with a haunting past. This book stresses a mother's need to protect her children at any costs. When Bree's youngest child is kidnapped and held captive by an old woman until her dirty revenge for her own daughter has been completed, she turns to Marshall, an old friend with cop instincts. Unpredictable and twisty, I felt for the characters in this book including the old woman who lost so much.
