Honestly, turning the Joining into basically a reverse harem when it could’ve EASILY be a balanced polyamorous relationship (or at least a true MMF threesome where both men at least kiss) I can’t even, this was my only hope for the book and it was trash. A freaking NA fantasy known for its smut scenes and the threesome description is absolute shite.

And can we discuss how Kieran and Reaver were supposed to be the perfect enemies to lovers and there isn’t a single trace of intention in the books to make them be together?

I feel like this series started as something and with each passing book the author just makes shit up to force us to read more 600 pages long books and I can’t take it anymore. It doesn’t even make sense, every book we discover Poppy is something different, just make up your mind! I’m too pissed off, I hope I remember this feeling of reading utter garbage when the next one comes out so I remember not to read it.
