Nell "Bunny" is such a strong, incredibe FMC. She put up such a good fight with what was thrown at her by her squad but even more so from Bradshaw "Bones". Bones is such a broken tortured soul but I loved watching him slowly open up in his own way. The entire book I was in the edge of my seat with these two and what they would do next to each other. They both pushed each other to the max. They both saw what each other were deep down and that was an incredible thing for these broken souls. I loved seeing the glimpses we got of their vulnerability. 

I will say that I figured out the plot twist about half way through and when the whole 3rd act drama came up and the following years after, I was honestly a bit let down and mad. Why didnt she try to leave sooner? Why did it seem like she just gave up? I understand she was protecting Bradshaw, but years and absolutely nothing but seeing her completely "happy" like she just had given up on life and settled, definitely not the same Nell that was portrayed throughout the whole book previous to that. Didn't like that part especially after everything Nell and Bradshaw went through. 

I have read every single book by K.M and devoured each one. This one was no different. I consumed this in one sitting with absolutely no regrets. This is definitely DARK, so be sure to check those TWs.
