It's my own fault that I don't reread a book's synopsis before reading it so I was expecting The True Love Bookshop to be a sweet small town romance based on the title and cover. Man, I was wrong! 

Tess and River's romance is complicated and deals with the complex emotions of grief. While the opening chapter is humorous, The True Love Bookshop is a rollercoaster of emotions with unexpected twists happening frequently. It is definitely worth a read!
