Nothing is ever truly straightforward for Royce and Sawyer. They are still crazy in love, sorting out their wedding and thriving professionally. What remains unresolved are conflicts they each have in their lives, conflicts that finally get laid to rest and expelled from their lives.

Royce is busy investigating a homicide that throws up numerous unexpected and intriguing twists and turns. Sawyer finds himself busy with his cold cases and also encountering an unexpected turn of events at the local hardware store. Through all of this they still manage to set important wedding goals, including the all important cake tasting. Short and sweet tender moments are snatched when possible and longer steamy moments are far from neglected!

I found this to be a very engaging and enthralling read that I couldn’t put down. Once again the balance between police investigations and romance is done extremely well. It flows along perfectly with a very interesting and intriguing plot and a wonderful cast of main and secondary characters.
This is a must read for all the Royce and Sawyer aficionado’s out there.
