This book coincides with book 8 where it follows #spoiler Darius beyond the veil. He is trying to get back to Tory but also he gets to meet the people who have passed before him. I loved having different POVs that we have never heard and seeing what the loved ones are doing after death. I loved Hail. He is funny, never thought you would hear that about the savage king. Anyway there are some sad moments but also some happy ones too, a good detour from the main story.
Blurb:
The stars called us.
The Veil closed at our backs.
And now death holds us in its clutches.
We were torn from life before our time, a Savage King, his queen, a betrayed son, a wronged brother, a scorned wife and so many more. We watch those we left behind as they struggle against the grip of the stars, the answers to so many of their questions within our grasp and yet out of their reach.
But what if we could find a way to answer their pleas? What if we could find a way to help them from this side of the divide? And what price would such a thing come at?
I am not sure I am ready to end this series. That's why I am glad to have this book in between. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ because that scene in 8 with Tory and the nymphs yes Darius was there 🥵
If you have not read the series it is worth the heartbreak and screaming trust me. Now onto the last Zodiac Academy.
Happy reading everyone 📚
