Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

I’m not sure where to even start with this book. Overall I ended up really liking it . The writing style might not be for everyone but it works.

This book explores multiple timelines for an array of characters who have found themselves trapped in a hostage situation after a bank robbery goes wrong. While you work to figure out the robber and their motivations with police you also explore each hostage and their motivations in life.

This book makes a great commentary on the ins and outs of depression, grief, divorce , guilt and societal pressures. It also explores the six degrees of separation and how we are all an interconnected species.
