I have two biases that automatically make me dislike this book:
1. I don't like novels written in the first person.
2. I don't like reading dream sequences, flash backs, or hallucinations.

Ways this book could have been better:
1. Rewritten as a screenplay directed by Sam Mendes or Terence Young.
2. Rewritten as a play.
3. The husband could have shown clues of being sinister earlier on, instead of just the last chapter.
4. Christine should have been more bewildered, lonely, scared, and not so easily satisfied after her hysterical outbursts.
5. Everything that happens in the last 5 pages should have been drawn out to seem more believable.
