Ten Rules for Faking It by Sophie Sullivan
2.0

Everly Dean’s life hits rock bottom and she has the worst birthday ever. She catches her boyfriend sleeping with his assistant. However, she takes the rock bottom and won’t let her anxiety hold her back and makes a change for this to be her year. On her radio show, she ends up dating a ton of men in a bachelor like program. Will she choose someone or will she fall for someone outside of the program?
This book reminded me of One to Watch mixed with The Ex Talk. I liked how Everly has anxiety and a dysfunctional family. That makes her seem real. I like how she took something bad and made good out of it. Now, the problems. I really did not feel like the two main characters had any chemistry and that Everly was naive and horrible based off stuff that happened years ago to the other character. She would find things to not let the relationship happen. Some of that could be from anxiety, but it was frustrating. This book was a big miss for me and it had a great premise, but wasn’t executed well in my opinion.
