I picked this up off a whim from a friends recommendation & I enjoyed it more than I expected. This book felt like the girly-pop romance version of Project Hail Mary.

My main complaint was the characters are all in their mid to late 20's but they handle relationships and conflicts like they are much younger. This could have been written as a YA and I think I would not have had this complaint.
