A False Start by Elsie Silver
5.0

I have been dying for Griff and Nadia’s story since the previous book in the series and this did not disappoint! I absolutely loved the two of them.

Nadia and Griffin are both broken people, both of things in their past that changed them. That are holding them back. I loved Nadia’s strength and determination. She experienced so much at a young age, but she has worked hard to overcome her past. She has great support system around her now. Griffin is a grump, but also you can tell from the start that there is so much more to him beneath the surface. He just needs to right person to bring it out.

From the moment they meet there is chemistry between Nadia and Griffin. I loved that there was some time jumps throughout this story and seeing how things had changed over the years for them as individuals and their connection with each other. I loved that they both slowly helped each other, they became the shoulders for the other to lean on. The motivation to move on from the past.

This story brought out all sorts of emotions from tears, to laughs and just pure joy. These beautifully broken characters found each other and their souls healed each other. Their journey was not always easy but it was so beautifully written.

It is bittersweet that this series is ending, but it is ending on a beautiful note.

If you’re looking for a small town, age gap, brothers best friend romance this is one to check out.
